- We enjoy giving tours of our facilities and speaking to families who are interested in a Christian Education for their children. We especially enjoy giving these tours when school is in session when you can catch the lively, loving spirit of teachers and students working together. Contact us at 231-773-3221 or mcsoffice@comcast.net.
How to apply
- Applications are accepted any time and placed in dated order upon receipt. Constituent (current MCS) families have priority enrollment until March 31. HOWEVER, this does NOT prevent community families from applying for our regular or Spanish Immersion programs. After March 31, applying families will be contacted to set their enrollment appointment in the order in which their application was received. Therefore, interested parents are encouraged to apply early, to reserve their child's spot in any class.
- Any parent who desires a Christian education for their children and is a member or attends regularly a Christian church is welcome to enroll his or her children at Muskegon Christian. Church membership is important; it is our belief that it takes three institutions to bring up a healthy child: home, school, and church.
- Enrollment at Muskegon Christian is offered to children of Christian parents without regard to race, nationality or ethnic origin.
- Parents who desire to enroll their children at Muskegon Christian School should complete an application form. Please contact our office at 231-773-3221 or mcsoffice@comcast.net for this information and a personal appointment.
- Once received, an enrollment interview will take place with the prospective parents meeting with the school administrator or other representative of MCS.
After enrollment
Tuition Management
Tuition payments at MCS are managed through Independent Bank Automatic Payment Program. During enrollment, you may be asked to fill out a FACTS grant assessment form, which helps us determine your tuition amount. MCS controls the tuition amount and payment schedule to best fit the agreement between your family and the school. The information on this form is used to automatically withdraw monthly tuition from your account. Any changes or questions are handled by the MCS Finance Office at 773-3221, ext. 118 or mcsoffice@comcast.net.
Apply for financial aid
If you are enrolling for less than the cost of tuition, financial aid possibilities are discussed during your personal enrollment appointment with an administrator. Again, often we rely on services from the FACTS Grant Assessment to determine need based financial aid for families. For more information regarding available aid, go to Tuition and Financial Aid or contact the school at 231-773-3221.
