Mrs. Bonnema has taught for 13 years, three of which have been with Muskegon Christian School's Kindergarten Explorers program.  Kari earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Dordt College and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University.  Mrs. Bonnema was the recipient of the "WGVU Cool Teacher" Award in April 2005 and loves to spend her time teaching young children who are enthusiastic about learning.  She loves to teach new songs to her students and seeing them sing on their own. 

Mrs. Bonnema is married with 4 children and enjoys reading, playing the piano, scrapbooking and traveling.
