Fourth and Fifth Grades
- Certified staff.
- Preparation for Middle School level academics and positive peer interaction.
- Emphasis on technology integration with learning and teaching.
- Math and reading excellence with specialized instructors.
- Personal responsibility and teamwork.
- Our curriculum is based on the State of Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs), but is not directly written from them. At MCS, we teach the concepts and ideas behind the GLCE’s and conduct curriculum studies comparing our curriculum to check for gaps. Topics beyond those contained in the GLCEs are also offered at MCS, as we believe they are vital to understanding the world and Our Creator. We pride ourselves in exceeding academic expectations, while teaching and applying a Christian perspective in all we do in and outside the classroom.
